# Approval of Dwarka Expressway and Rapid Metro expansion in Haryana: Travel between Gurugram-Faridabad in 30 minutes

Haryana Cabinet has given formal approval to the state-of-the-art **Rapid Metro and Elevated Expressway Corridor** connecting Cyber ​​City Gurugram and Industrial City Faridabad. After the completion of this ambitious project, the travel time between the two major cities will reduce to just 30 minutes.

### Main characteristics:

1. **State-of-the-Art Metro Route**: 12 new stations will be built on 32 km long elevated track.
2. **Freedom from traffic jam**: Daily commuters from Bata Chowk to IFFCO Chowk will get relief from heavy jam.
3. **Eco-friendly transport**: All metro stations and expressway lights will be powered by solar energy.
