With the increase in cases of lumpy skin disease in many districts of Haryana, the Animal Husbandry Department in Hisar has intensified investigation. Under this, seven teams of 21 veterinarians are actively monitoring the situation.

The aim of these teams is to stop the spread of the infection and provide immediate assistance to the affected animals. The department has achieved 98 percent monitoring target, which is a matter of relief.

Local officials say that prompt action will be taken if any suspicious cases are found. All veterinarians have been asked to remain alert at all times. This situation is important for both farmers and their animals.

The Animal Husbandry Department has also ensured necessary medical supplies to the animal health centres, so that they can respond quickly to any emergency.
